Congratulations on your engagement, the fun starts here, after all when do we get to play dress up as an adult and try on lots of gorgeous dresses.
At Ellia Pearl we offer exclusive use of our boutique on an appointment only basis which gives you 1.5 hours to browse the collections, try on dresses, and for us to discuss your thoughts and ideas.
We believe that finding your dream wedding dress is a special moment which is best shared with your loved ones, with whom you trust and value. We encourage you to bring those key people with you to your appointment for an enjoyable and relaxed experience.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING WITH ME?
Its always a good idea to wear a strapless, neautral coloured or white bra so not to distract attention away from the dress when trying. However most dresses have built in support so a bra is not always necessary. We also have plenty of shoes in various sizes you can try on with the dresses.
WHEN TO START LOOKING FOR YOUR DRESS?
Finding your dress at least 12 months before your wedding is ideal. This allows enough time for delivery, dress fittings and to ensure all is perfect. If you are pushed for time no need to worry as some of our designers provide a rush order at an additional cost and hold certain levels of stock. We also have a beautiful selection of sample dresses that are ‘off the peg’ and available to take away on the day.
WHAT SIZES ARE THE DRESS SAMPLES?
All our dress samples are sizes 8 – 22. Don’t worry if you don’t fall within these sample sizes there are a lot tricks and tweaks we can do whilst trying the samples to get an idea of how the dress would fit in your size.
PRICE RANGE
Our dresses range between £540 – £2350.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT PLANS
When you have found your perfect dress you will pay a 50% non-refundable deposit on ordering. We will then require the remaining balance on arrival of your dress in store. We can also offer a unique payment plan, for those wanting to spread the cost of the remaining balance over a period of time.
ALTERATIONS & FITTING PROCESS
It is likely that your dress will need a few tweaks and alterations here and there to make sure the fit is perfect for your special day. This will usually take place about 8 – 12 wks before your wedding.
Here at Ellia Pearl all alterations take place in house by our own fair hands. We are both trained seamstresses and fashion graduates working for many years within bridal wear. With our knowledge and expertise we will be able to guide you through the fitting process and work with you on any bespoke requirements.
We do not believe in fixed price alteration packages, as you can imagine all alterations needed are unique to each dress and each bride. During the fitting process we will work together assessing the work required and price accordingly.
